TEACHER TRAINING FOR INCORPORATING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN COLLEGE EDUCATION

 


Abstract: This research discusses training of teachers to incorporate digital technologies in higher education, with the following research problem: as the teachers of the graduations of a Public Institution of Higher Edu-cation (IPES) who participated in the teacher training in service of a program of continuing education at IPES are inserting digital technologies in their disciplines in the context of higher education ?. The methodology used to carry out this analysis was a qualitative research, based on a case study, using two online questionnaires, the participation of 17 teachers in questionnaire 1 and 14 teachers in questionnaire 2. Research participants were teachers who participated in one of the editions of continuing education courses in service held between 2015 and 2018, who work in classroom undergraduate courses. As main results, we analyzed that teachers incorporate digital technologies, using them as a didactic strategy within the disciplines.
