New article: The contribution of gamification in the assessment process for learning
Abstract: This research aimed to analyze the use of gamification by 9 students, subjects participating in the research, as a strategy to carry out the evaluation of the teaching-learning process. The study was developed in a distance course, supported by digital resources: ZOOM application, virtual learning environment (AVA) and the WhatsApp application. The methodology is qualitative and the type of research is a case study, resulting from the use of gamification in anactivity. The digital resources used were AVA and Google Forms, where gamified activity was developed. The discussion forum was the instrument used for data collection. In the end, the results showed that the gamification strategy, developed in a sequenced logic, makes it possible to carry out a procedural assessment, considering the entire process of an online discipline, but that it is possible to carry out other types of assessment such as diagnosis and the mediator.
