THE AUGMENTED REALITY FROM THE STUDENT PERSPECTIVE: AN EXPLORATORY RESEARCH IN UNIT/AL ENGINEERING COURSES
ABSTRACT: This article presents an analysis of the perspectives of students from engineering courses of the Uni-versity Center Tiradentes (UNIT / AL) in relation to Augmented Reality (AR) as a resource present in teaching didactic materials. AR is an easy-to-access software that allows the visualization of a virtual object in the real world, thus being possible through a smartphone. Initially, we presented students with examples of AR applications through the presentation of a didactic material and data was pro-duced by a questionnaire answered by themselves. Several researches demonstrate their use in the educational environment, however, this search seeks to know what they think about this technology. The data analysis showed a good acceptance and a high level of satisfaction among students, having videos associated with the teaching material being highlighted as excellent. In this way, we propose an insertion of AR into teaching didactic materials for being an important digital resource for Education.
